Well...hot damn.
Last night was a blast. The turnout for Johnny's fundraiser was spectacular and we shared an enjoyable evening in a very intimate setting with some very cool people (@ Tellus 360). Thanks to everyone who came and showed support for Johnny's awesome cause. We've been informed that he has reached his fundraising goal of 4,500 bucks and will be leaving for his epic cross country sojourn at the end of the month. Wish the kid luck..it's a 4,000+ mile bike ride.
Two upcoming gigs to know about. First off, we'll be playing this saturday (may 19th) at McCleary's Public House in Marietta, Pa. Come out for a night showcasing some of the finest local talent (not to mention the fantastic food and drink available). Kit Colt will take the stage somewhere around 930, don't be the one who misses this awesome night.
Secondly, we'll be performing during downtown Lancaster's 1st friday's in front of Gretna Bikes on Prince street. This should a killer time. Come on out to see the band play as well as the many other things 1st friday's has to offer.

TODAY! (May 12th, 2012)
Come out to Tellus 360 in downtown Lancaster (24 East King Street, Lancaster PA) to help us support our friend Johnny Westphal and his benefit for cancer. Johnny is raising money to do a 4,000+ bike ride across the country which benefits cancer research and recovery services. Come do your good samaritan deed of the day or come out to have a good time. Thank you everyone.
Big Red Welcomes AJ was a blast and a success. Everyone had a good time and there was a smile on everyone's face. There must have been 60-70 people there at one time. You guys rock! Make sure to keep posted for future events and gigs, and if you haven't already, check us out on facebook (give us a like if you like the music!), twitter (kitcoltmusic), and google+. As of right now, we have two upcoming gigs to tell ya'll about...

Johnny is raising money to complete a cross country bike ride to raise awareness and money for cancer research. Come out to Tellus 360 in downtown Lancaster (24 E. King Street. Lancaster, PA 17601) for a night of live music, food, and drink. It's sure to be a great time.
May 19th @ McCleary's Public House (130 W. Front St. Marietta PA) come out for some good food, drink, and an evening showcasing some of Lancaster's finest up and coming musical groups, including Kit Colt. You don't wanna miss this one. And if you haven't been to McCleary's before, we all suggest you head over as soon as you can.

As always There will be a full day of music with Philadelphia Funk Hustle, Ground Score and the Family Band Closing the festival up with a late night laser show. SpringScape family will be serving up burgers off the grill all day along side many other vendors. Food vendors, wraps, cloths, hats, beer everything you could ever want will be set up on our very own shakedown street. approximatly 10 bands, and 10 vendors.
Come make this a magical day. This will prove to be the best one yet!
